Social Event
Southeast Valley Women's Club meets the first Thursday of each month at The Gilbert Historical Museum, 10 South Gilbert Road, Gilbert, AZ, 85296. The meeting room is behind the museum accessible from Elliot Rd.
SEVWC was formed in 1976. We are a friendly group of women with a large variety of activities to offer. Whether you are new to the Southeast Valley, or just want to make new friends, please think of joining us. Our members live in Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe and Sun Lakes,
A short business meeting starts at 10:30 AM, followed by a program. Thursday, September 1, 2022, our program will be “You Don’t Need a Silver Spoon to Eat Good Food.” Rev Chef Jason Taylor, from Other Side Ministries will be our speaker. Their Mission Statement is: “We are a love-based ministry providing HOPE for our community through meals, resources, connections and education.”
Following the meeting, our members usually go to lunch at one of the many restaurants in the local area. This month we will be heading to the Hoosier Café at 393 W. Warner Road, Chandler.
Other activities we enjoy include five groups of Ponytail Canasta, Book Club, Crafts & Creations, three groups of Hand & Foot Canasta, Mah Jong, Phase Ten, Star Bunco, Lunch Bunch, Movies, and social activities which can include our partners or friends.
