Lakeshore Music Presents the Chloe Feoranzo Quartet

Need a post-Valentine’s Day treat? Lakeshore Music presents the precocious, multi talented – and sweet – Chloe Feoranzo and her quartet to warm your heart at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Tempe Center for the Arts Lakeside Room. The 27-year-old Chloe combines her stunning jazz clarinet solos with her alluring vocals to win over the hearts of her audiences. Chloe will be accompanied by Molly Teeves and Nahum Zdybel on guitar and Ted Long on bass.

A Children’s Concert – Come Meet the Instruments

One Small Step - Desert Overture LGBT Wind Symphony Concert

Desert Overture, Phoenix’s Premiere LGBT and Ally Wind Symphony, presents One Small Step, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing, space exploration, and the grandeur of the cosmos.
The concert is being held on Sunday, March 15 at 3:00 pm at Tempe Center for the Arts. Advance tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and children 12 and under are free. There is a $5 per ticket surcharge at the door. Tickets are available at www.DesertOverture.org.
Desert Overture, with its more than 50 musicians, was formed in 2010 and remains a hidden cultural gem in the Valley of the Sun. The concert band is an active member of the Lesbian Gay Band Association (LGBA), which has grown to 37 members across the country, including international bands. The group is a regular in the Pride parade and also performs at least four major concerts a year in the valley.
“There is a great deal of renewed interest regarding space travel and the cosmos” said Scott Helms, Desert Overture Artistic Director. “This concert brings together a unique collection of space-inspired music that is sure to set the imagination adrift.”
