15th Annual Run for Ryan House
Come one, come all for the 15th annual Run for Ryan House featuring a 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run on Sunday, Nov. 17 at Kiwanis Park. We invite you to get outside and spend the morning with us and assist in our mission to continue to provide world-class care and programs for the medically fragile children and families we serve as they navigate life-limiting or end-of-life journeys. Running, Walking, Holiday
2019 Hanukkah Hot Chocolate Run 10K/5K/1K
Start the holidays off right with some exercise and a treat at the end! Join us at The J for our 2nd Annual Holiday Fun Run Series and participate in a 10K, 5K or 1K Run/Walk. The 10K/5K will be a timed run/walk, while the 1K is a non-timed fun event that you can run or walk, starting in our sculpture garden. We encourage participants to bring the family. The 5K is FREE for kids 6 and under with registered parent (shirt not included). No pets allowed though, sorry! Shirt is not guaranteed after 11/20, so please register early! Online registration will close at 5pm the day prior to each event. After that, participants can still register race morning starting at 6:30am at The J. Race Day Info: Packet pick-up will take place starting at 6:30am on race day at the Tucson J in the Sculpture Garden. Race day registration will also be available until 7:30am. 10K will begin at 7:45am, 5K will begin at 8:00am and the 1K will begin at 8:45am. Walkers may begin early in the 10K/5K. Race will proceed rain or shine. No refunds.

The For Everyone 4k will be a family event with food trucks, bounce houses, and community market vendors for all to enjoy! Whether you plan to walk it, run it, or stroll it - EVERYONE can participate. Every dollar of every registration fee from this race will be donated directly to providing Christmas gifts to those in our community who would not have them otherwise. So bring your family and friends and join us at this awesome community event!

Humana Rock ‘N’ Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon Celebrates 17 Years Of Running
The musically themed running series is known for bringing live music and entertainment to the course. Participants will experience great runner support and community engagement as they move along to music from live on-course bands. The annual event includes the marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, KiDS ROCK! races. The two day Expo will showcase the latest in running gear, nutrition and training, and is free and open to the public. Rock ‘n’ Roll 5K presented by Brooks and KiDS ROCK!: Starts at the Mill Ave. Bridge and finishes at Rio Salado Parkway at Ash. Marathon: Starts at the Arizona Center – Van Buren st. & 2nd St. Phoenix and ends at Rio Salado Parkway at Ash, Tempe. Half marathon: Starts at University Dr. & College Ave. – Tempe and ends at Rio Salado Parkway at Ash. Health & Fitness Expo – Phoenix Convention Center, North Hall A and West Halls A - D. Friday, January 17: 12:00 pm-7:00 pm – Health & Fitness Expo Day 1. Saturday, January 18: 8:00AM – 12:00pm – Rock ‘n’ Roll 5K. 9:00 am-5:00 pm – Health & Fitness Expo Day 2. XTERRA Estrella Mountain Trail Run
Join us and cooler weather on December 15 for the 3rd XTERRA race of our series on the Competitive Loops at Estrella Mountain Regional Park. Consisting almost entirely of single track, the 8K and 20K courses will challenge beginner and experienced trail runners alike. The courses begin at the park’s competitive loops (NOTE: not the main park entrance, see directions). Both courses are based at the competiive loops off of Avenida Estrella south of ISM Raceway (Formerly PIR). There are two (or three) major hills and a quite a few twists and turns as the course winds through the valley desert. You finish the last half mile with a wide descent to help propel you across the finish line. All participants will receive a huge post-race breakfast, a super cool race tee and finisher medal, as well as entry into fun post-race festivities.

XTERRA McDowell Mountain Trail Run
With over 80 miles of trails to choose from, McDowell Mountain Regional Park is a trail runner's paradise and our venue for race #5 of the XTERRA Arizona Trail Run Series. The 15-mile long course features a gradual climb full of cholla forests and fields of beaver tails. It is one giant loop with a short out and back down to Dixie Mine (and a treat at the turn around). The shorter 7K course is easily defined by its name, the Scenic Trail. Following a counterclockwise loop, the rocky climb at mile 1 will keep you on your toes.
