10th Annual Arizona Taco Festival
The festival is open Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. One-day General Admission will begin at $10 per ticket in honor of the 10th anniversary for the first 2,019 ticket buyers and increase to $15 per ticket. Military members will receive half off their ticket. Expo tickets are $20 and run from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. The VIP Cantina will offer chef curated food, private bars, entertainment, private bathrooms, seating for $135 per day. Tickets are only sold online on www.AZTacofestival.com and food and beverages cost extra. Arizona Taco Festival is a cashless event. 10th Annual Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-off
What: 10th Annual Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-off. When: November 8 & 9, 2019. Where: Tumbleweed Ranch at southeast corner of Tumbleweed Park, Chandler. Experience a rare, up-close look at Western history during family-friendly culinary event. The event starts on Friday, November 8th with a special evening of entertainment from Rhondavous Band, dancing, and a beer garden. Friday’s admission is $10. On Saturday, admission to the Cook-off is free. Authentic 1880s chuck wagon teams from around the West use historic cooking methods to create the best meals fit for the trail. Wagon teams win prizes in various food categories and the public can purchase these unique chuck wagon meals. Lunch meal tickets go on sale Saturday morning at 10 am, and the meal is served at noon. 13th Annual Taste of the Biltmore
All foodies are invited to attend the 13th annual Taste of the Biltmore. This highly anticipated, upscale block party welcomes a variety of eateries from around the Valley. Live music will be provided by Soundbite, an all-in-one performance stage, recording studio and food truck. Every cent raised from the ticket sales and proceeds will go towards Ryan House, www.ryanhouse.org. This local charity combines compassion with state-of-the-art care to guide children through their unique life-limiting or end-of-life journey while providing families with peace, comfort and support. “Ryan House is thrilled to have been chosen as this year’s Taste of the Biltmore beneficiary. We are grateful for National Bank of Arizona’s support of our innovative model of care for children and their families as they face life-limiting and end-of-life journeys and are looking forward to an incredible community event!” says Executive Director, Tracy Leonard-Warner. Since 2007, Taste of the Biltmore has raised $112,733 for local charities. Early bird tickets are $75 and $100 at the door. Entrance includes unlimited food and drink tastings. Annual SanTan Brewing Oktoberfest
SanTan Brewing Oktoberfest presented by Bashas' returns to Downtown Chandler September 27 & 28 for it's 12th year! The two day festival will take place at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park from 5-11 p.m. on Friday and 3-11 p.m. on Saturday. This year's Saturday headlining band is Gin Blossoms! For the first time, SanTan Oktoberfest will feature amusement rides including a ferris wheel, giant carnival slide, kids’ funhouse and adult thrill ride, The Hammer. Attendees can also expect the return of crowd favorites like polka music, Von Hanson’s brat eating contests, stein holding competitions, keg stacking matchups and bring-your-own wiener dog races! Arizona Donut & Ice Cream Festival
Come join us for Arizona's first donut and ice cream festival! We will have over 15 local donut and ice cream businesses. Take a bite into a fluffy donut paired with cool, creamy ice cream from different businesses. Wash it down with a cold beer or paired cocktail! Discover donuts and ice cream from around the world! We will have rolled ice cream, bubble waffle with ice cream, beignets, and churros to name a few. Celebrate the diversity of food with us and how donuts and ice cream are different with each culture, but every single one is just as delicious! Each business will have a donut or ice cream that is $5 or less. We will have card games, lawn games, and board games free to play. We will also have a curated marketplace with local artists. The event is outdoors with an indoor portion at The Pressroom. The Pressroom will have cold beer and cocktails available for purchase! Boba, coffee, and lunch items will be available too.

Arizona Fall Fest
Local First Arizona proudly presents the 15th Annual Arizona Fall Fest, the biggest community celebration for all-things local. At its launch, the Arizona Fall Fest, (then known as the Certified Local Fall Festival), boasted only 27 vendors. Now in its 15th year, the event has become the largest festival at Margaret T. Hance Park with 200 local vendors and 30,000 attendees. Attendees can indulge in their local-ness and experience something new with the following areas: -Over 40 food trucks and restaurants sampling local food; -Kid Zone with family-friendly games, crafts, and activities; -Sports Zone featuring Arizona’s professional sports teams; -Dog-friendly area to bring leashed canines; -Three stages featuring live local entertainment and cultural performances; -A free swag bag filled with local gifts and items given to the first 500 families; -An all-Arizona Hensley Beverage Craft Beer and Wine Garden. To commend the 15th anniversary, Local First Arizona is releasing a weekly podcast featuring a mix of six original and new vendors at the festival. We will also have a wide variety of unique arts and craft vendors for your shopping pleasure, and great live music all day long. This will be a dog friendly event. If you have a small dog under 10lbs, then get them in shape for the “Great Arizona Small Dog Race” with your entrance fees all going to the Maricopa County Animal Shelter.

Arizona Restaurant Association Announces 2019 Fall Arizona Restaurant Week
‘Tis the season for the return of one of the most popular culinary events of the year! The Arizona Restaurant Association announces the arrival of its 2019 Fall Arizona Restaurant Week (ARW), which takes place from Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 29. During these 10 days, diners can take advantage of three-course meals and prix-fixe menus for just $33 or $44 per person at participating restaurants around the state. This year marks the 12th anniversary of Arizona Restaurant Week, a twice-a-year opportunity (including Spring Arizona Restaurant Week, which takes place in May) for local food aficionados to indulge in some of the state’s finest menus and discover hidden local gems while also giving Arizona chefs a chance to showcase their culinary creativity beyond their regular menus. Diners can view a complete list of restaurants participating in Fall Arizona Restaurant Week online at www.arizonarestaurantweek.com. New restaurants and menus will be added as participation grows.
